High Performance, FR (Fire Resistant) fabrics by Milliken for NFPA 70E, NESC and NFPA 2112 compliance
For years, there were only two options in workwear: protective or comfortable. Times have changed.
Milliken FR™ introduces patented Amplitude® Flame Resistant workwear fabrics. These new “Made in USA” fabrics are processed ammonia-free and are constructed of a cotton/nylon blend designed to help mitigate potential injuries due to electric arc and flash fire exposure, while maintaining very high levels of durability and comfort.
Amplitude has enhanced comfort and improved aesthetic qualities, and delivers premium FR performance while enhancing worker comfort through improved breathability and optional stretch. Amplitude is currently available in a 6 oz. 4x1 Twill, 7 oz. topweight, 9 oz. bottomweight and an 11 oz. duck fabric, with more innovative FR designs planned for launch in the near future.
